Andor - resistance: Iran, Palestine and Lebanon

As someone who loves Star Wars and a child of an Iranian immigrant, I have lived my whole in America being told Iran is the enemy and a sponsor of global terror. I never actually believed this, but the messaging and sentiment was omnipresent, especially post 9/11 (which had nothing to do with Iran naturally).

As we see lsraeI and US wage a brutal air assault of Iran massacring civilians and military targets alike, I’d be curious to see if the general American public is finally seeing what has been happening all along. That being, a very intentional and sophisticated propaganda campaign against the state of Iran has been waged for nearly 5 decades. The assignment of regional boogeyman to justify trillions of military spending and total disregard for American healthcare, education, infrastructure and general welfare programs.

Iran, Cuba and Venezuela are THE only countries to cast out the American and British empire and live to tell the tale. You’ve probably heard that these countries have terrible human rights, corruption, etc. Who do you hear this from? The poor who were pulled out of abject poverty? Or the administrative/viceroy business class that greatly benefited from extreme inequality?

These countries have been completely sanctioned from global trade and community because they dared to kick out America and reclaim their natural resources. Since then, they’ve been sabotaged left and right by CIA covert ops, divestment, and literal blockades.

When will you guys see that these countries are the resistance and spearhead of the global south? How many more fictional stories and allegories do you need to consume to see that American and Britain are the empire and these countries are the resistance?

Let me guess, women’s rights are your concern? Ok what about Saudi our greatest ally, who just let women start to drive? Or Israel, that has killed more innocent women than any country this century?

Iranian women are in parliament, there are more women university graduates than men in Iran, they are CEOs, deans of academic institutions, and so much more. And the only reason these religious conservatives have so much influence in Iran IS BECAUSE OF THE ECONOMIC SANCTIONS AND AGGRESSION.

Idk after seeing Trump say he wanted to end Iranian civilization I figured this would be a good wake up call for the well meaning liberal. Even the conservatives are finally waking up to war mongering, lsraeI and money in politics.
