Would Aestred Thurga - Pyre of Faith be good place to start?

I’m relatively new to reading Warhammer 40k books, I have read a few Sigmar books but would like to explore the universe of 40k. I saw that my local LGS has the book for preorder for 15 USD (151NOK).  But haven’t seen anyone talking about this book.
