Do you actually check day-pass prices before visiting a new gym, or just accept getting rinsed once?
Maybe this is cheap behavior but some drop-in prices are getting dumb. Not talking full memberships, just one session when you're traveling or testing a gym.
A roundup like https://www.indoorclimbinggym.com/categories/affordable-climbing-gyms/ is useful mostly because it gives a fast sanity check before you show up and pay boutique-fitness money for a crowded session and soft resets.
What's your personal cutoff for a day pass before a gym has to be really good to justify it?
