Hi Reddits! I am travelling to Miami with a toddler in a car seat- my question is what does everyone do with shuttles?

Advice wanted

Hey everyone,

I’m traveling to Miami soon with my little one who’s still in a car seat, and I’m honestly a bit confused about what people do in this situation.

We’re planning to take a shuttle from the airport to our hotel, and then another shuttle from the hotel to the cruise port. I keep seeing mixed info online about car seat rules in Florida, especially when it comes to shuttles and hotel transportation.

Do you actually need to bring your own car seat for these kinds of rides? Do shuttles ever provide them, or is that basically not a thing? I’m also wondering if drivers would refuse to take us without one, or if people typically just hold their child for short rides.

I just don’t want to end up stuck at the airport not knowing what to do, especially after a flight with a toddler.

Would really appreciate hearing what others have done or any tips from experience!
