Dumb hypothetical of the day

say the Jackets finish 9th in the East and just miss the playoffs, but they actually have more points than every team in the Pacific. If you could retroactively move them to the Pacific where they’d finish 1st and make the playoffs, would you do it if it meant they had to stay in the Pacific for the next 5 years?
