Live in Guanacaste without a car

Hey, I may spend 5 months in Guancaste in a couple of weeks.

I may live in Liberia/Playa Hermosa/ Playa del Coco while working next to the airport. Do you think it's okay to do this without a car ? Is it okay to do my everyday travels with buses. And do you think I'm going to enjoy the nice things in the region like this ?
