Mermaid Quest / Friendship Tasks

I’m really struggling to complete the mermaid quest with the fish attractor, I can’t find anyone willing to help me complete it in game and I always feel as though I’m bothering people. I’ve tried to stumble upon someone fishing but I can’t actually find anyone, I used some on the fishing boat but for some reason they just didn’t work.

Is there a way to do this quest without another person? I’m really introverted and I don’t have any friends that play heartopia so I always struggle with quests, events or tasks that require friends or another person 😅
