Would i?
Would i?
Would you write to me
If my letter arrived to you late
In the bleak hazy winter
When the road weren’t paved
I would still be waiting
not for the letter but you
Keep hope that you hold me still
Buried deeper than any grave
I would wait
A reply or anything at all
That you’ve learnt of my despair
That you don't care if its a ruse
This might take long
For a while its been on my mind
A case full of memories you’ve left
Full of longings left for me to choose.
Longer than i can think
I had been expecting an answer
Of my life to live, will it tell me how so?
Many of the things i crave but never enjoyed before
Patience is what’s killing me
Death would’ve been much faster.
But this horror of waiting will leave me burning
Slower and slower pain than any disaster.
