MacBook care

Hey everyone,

My MBP M5 is coming in on Friday, I’m upgrading from a 2015 air (running it for 10 years). question:

Do I get a screen protector and a case? For my air I had a screen protector on it and it’s been fine, I see for m mb it takes different kind of care to make it last long. Not sure if it will cause damage.

Also Apple Store sells cases, should I get from there?

Would like recommendations to keep it in a good condition
