Tips for a J-Core meetup at a Hanami?
I'm from Berlin, and every year there's a cherry blossom festival in a park. It's a place where you'll find a lot of traditional Japanese, Korean, and Chinese culture. But also pop culture, cosplayers, and so on. It's basically an open-air convention for anime fans, cherry blossom enthusiasts, and everyone in between.
I'm planning to organize a small meetup there for people who, like me, enjoy listening to J-Core and EDM. Unfortunately, I'm not connected to the scene at all, even though I've been watching anime for over 10 years.
I don't cosplay, I don't go to raves, I rarely go to conventions, I don't have any friends (because I'm very introverted), and now I don't know if I can make connections through music. After all, music is a universal language.
I don't want to stand there and blast anime remixes through my speakers, even if it's not forbidden. Otherwise, I don't really have much of a choice; I'd just be sitting on the grass during the planned time and watching the visitors walk by.
Do you have any realistic tips on how I can find like-minded people there, despite my shy personality?
