how long does uni of leicester stay open?

hi i’m an international applicant and i’m trying to decide if i should firm leicester. i haven’t found information about this easily online, so i’m appealing to the reddit

how much of the year is the campus open for students? like does it ever fully close for holidays and stuff, or are students still allowed to stay at campus while classes are off?

also how many services are open to students during off/holiday periods?

thank you
