I have not yet finished my work... and I must make Paris the capital of the world." — Napoleon Bonaparte.
I’ve finally finished my global reconstruction of the world in June 1812. This project captures the absolute peak of the First French Empire, just as the Grande Armée began its fateful march toward the East.
While the focus is centered on the Napoleonic hegemony over Europe—from the "sharp" borders of the Duchy of Warsaw to the Confederation of the Rhine—this is a complete World Map. I spent a significant amount of time refining the often-ignored regions of Africa, the sovereign states in Asia, and the colonial struggles in the Americas to ensure total geographical accuracy for this era.
Key Features of the Map:
• The Eve of Invasion: Shows the geopolitical status just weeks before the Russian Campaign.

• Global Scale: Not just Europe—a full world map with meticulously corrected North African and colonial borders.
• Aesthetic Precision: I used a "sharp" border logic to ensure maximum clarity, inspired by province-level details.
• The Mastermind’s Vision: A tribute to the scale of ambition that defined the early 19th century.
I've uploaded this in 4 parts to keep the detail as high as possible. Feel free to zoom in and explore the borders of the French puppet states and the colonial frontiers!
What do you think of the Emperor's "Grand Design" at this point in history? Would love to hear your thoughts!
