Computer science honours worth it?

So I am currently studying bachelors of computer science (majoring in AI) at UNSW which is a 3 year degree. I will be graduating next term. I was wondering if doing the 1 year honours in computer science after that is worth it? Will it make me more competitive? What are the pros and cons?
