I keep finding better books in comments than actual rec posts??

okay random thought but i’ve been on a dark romance binge and noticed something

i either find books from actual rec posts (like trope-specific lists etc) or i end up going down comment rabbit holes and finding completely random stuff

and weirdly… some of my favorite reads have come from comments, not even the main post

but at the same time it’s kinda annoying having to dig through so many replies when i’m looking for something specific

so how are you guys actually finding your next reads on here? do you mostly rely on rec posts or just scroll and pick things up from comments

and what actually makes a rec post worth saving for you vs the ones that all feel the same
