my childhood friend is being lied to

this time last year i reached out to my childhood friend, let’s call her stacy. Stacy and i were catching up, talking about life and all that. she’s a pretty busy girl, she works 8-4 and travels out of town a lot of weekends. So, we saw each other again in november, she tells me her boyfriend’s name at this hangout, let’s call him drake. i also have a boyfriend, let’s call him Joshua. Joshua and drake live in the same town, stacy and i live in the same town. we’re both long distance(abt a 8hour drive, both towns are pretty small and isolated (around a population of 5k ppl) so people know people. i get home that night and call joshua, asking him if he knows a drake. joshua just goes “oh no..” he proceeds to tell me drake was seen dancing with another girl at a dance, and he also asked to sleep with his friends baby mama, and he also abuses substances. for context, stacy is christian, never drank or smoked, and doesn’t swear at all. i ask her to meet up again to confirm if that was her drake was dancing with and she said “no, he told me he was just standing to the side as he was the dd that night.” joshua also told me drake beat his ex and abuses substances. stacy told me the opposite. now, this is a lot to put on one person and joshua is very honest. i don’t know, i guess i just feel bad for her.
