Just Got Scammed

okay so long story short I got scammed and locked out of my whatsapp account.

My friend posted on her status about an organization giving out money. it's looked fishy so I tried to warn her but she insisted it worked so I followed the steps and because I'm bored and not paying attention I followed through.

I don't have a bank account associated with my number nor do I have mobile money so I was engaging purely out of curiosity.

so they locked me out of my whatsapp account. I went to confront my friend, and she said that she got locked out of her account 2 days ago. mind you, this all happened today.

They're probably trying to convince my contacts as well so I'm annoyed. I sent an email to whatsapp and I'm going to call my mobile provider. hopefully, I can laugh all about it tomorrow😪
