tips on how to get period back ?

Hello !! I am writing on my partner's behalf and we would like to get some suggestions on what to do in order to induce her period (we're both in our twenties)...

The last time she got her "normal" period was last year, around October 2025. Before that, she had a very heavy period in July 2025 where the blood loss was so bad she had to be hospitalized and get blood transfusions and medication (mostly iron, something to prevent heavy blood loss, against nauseas, and dydrogesterone).

She doesn't seem to have the type of PCOS that shows signs of insulin resistance, since she has a hard time gaining weight. Other than that, doctors say that she is healthy (?) so we aren't exactly sure what to do in order to get a normal and regular cycle again...

Any tips or advice ? :(
