My new favourite agar recipe - Not my own design but wanted to share to help others if your agar is contamination prone
Hey all, I recently been trying to figure out why my plates kept contaminating with trich, bacteria and all other annoying pesty moulds from what seemed like thin air. I would work infront a flow hood, do everything right, etc but would always get like 3 out of 10 or sometimes 5 out of 10 plates have some sort of contam on them. And up until now, was getting well fed up with looking for answers until i stumbled across this new, small channel. His recipe seems to be really well at staying clean in the meantime and after pouring an additional 14 plates since testing this agar recipe, I haven't had a single contamination outbreak since using this recipe on ALL of the plates! About time! lol. But I'll leave the link in this post so yall can check it out if you want but overall, if you are having contam issues like me, try this agar out. You won't look back and you'll save yourself a tonne of stress
