🎶 Electric word, life It means forever, and that's a mighty long time

But I'm here to tell you there's something else: The afterworld

A world of never ending happiness

You can always see the sun, day or night 🎸

If you read all of that in a particular voice, you have great taste in music and who I want to connect with!

I’m solidly GenX looking to wax nostalgia about the greatest childhood ever.

Let’s talk about all the great TV shows we watched! Growing Pains, Family Ties, Full House, Who’s the Boss, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers. We also had the best cartoons! Tom & Jerry, The Jetsons, Flintstones, Inspector Gadget, Smurfs … our Saturday mornings were awesome!

Once we went outside, we rode our bikes everywhere. Drank from the garden hose. We played outside all summer from sun up to sun down. Some of our parents didn’t know we existed and at 10:30pm each night, a PSA was broadcast on TV reminding them what time it was and asked if they knew where we were!

At school, we played four square, wall ball, dodge ball and ran our fingers on the concrete blocks and had actual chalk boards in class. Remember drinking from the water fountain and your classmates giving you 3 seconds to get a drink (so we save some for the fish!)

We were the MTV generation. We looked forward to new music videos and remember how controversial Madonna was. We watched shuttle launches, the Berlin Wall fall and reality TV.

Today, I'm 50 and fully embrace all things GenX. As a point of mention as well, I'm not white, just to get that out of the way, though I grew up mostly with white.

I’d like to connect with someone that is married, maybe to Chicago, isn’t afraid to catch feelings, and is open for occasional and spontaneous lunch and coffee dates through the week if our schedules and stars.

Happy Hours and the such aren’t out of the question either. My OPSEC is tight and I have the financial means to run this relationship and I’d expect you to as well if we decide to meet in person.

I’m looking for somebody that identifies primarily as GenX, Xennial, or maybe an older Millennial with some kids that keep you busy. I think I get along best with those that have an otherwise healthy relationship with their spouse, but feel like the physical aspect is missing for one reason or another.

If any of this resonates with you, let’s chat. Let’s talk about the greatest childhood. One that didn’t involve social media, smart phones, our parents knowing where we were at every minute, and enjoying a carefree life of no worries.

If you made it this far, tell me, what was your favorite cartoon growing up?
