1. **Azula to Long Feng (Avatar: The Last Airbender):** Azula holds the Earth King hostage and Long Feng tries to double cross her, but the Dai Li will not comply with his command to arrest her. Azula had already disguised herself as a Kiyoshi Warrior with Mai and Ty Lee, manipulating the Dai Li and infiltrated Ba Sing Se. However, this was probably her greatest moment.

Long Feng: Now comes the part where I double cross you. Dai Li, arrest the Fire Nation princess.

*Dai Li does not move*

Long Feng: I said arrest her! What is wrong with you?!

Azula: It’s because they haven’t made up their minds. They’re waiting to see how this is going to end.

Long Feng: What are you taking about?

Azula: I can see your whole history in your eyes. You were born with nothing, so you’ve had to struggle, and connive, and claw your way to power. But true power, the divine right to rule, is something you’re born with. The fact is, they don’t know which one of us is going to be sitting on that throne, and which one is going to be bowing down. But I know, and you know.

*Azula sits on the throne*

Azula: Well?

Long Feng: You’ve beaten me at my own game.

Azula: Don’t flatter yourself. *You were never even a player.*

2. **Tony Soprano to Richie Aprile (The Sopranos)**: Richie deliberately ignores Tony’s warning to stay away from Beansie Gaeta, running the pizza owner over with his car and paralyzing him. Once Tony hears the news, he asserts his dominance over Richie, telling him that he must give him the respect he had for his brother, Jackie Aprile Sr., who died.

T: I thought I told you to back the fuck off Beansie.

R: I did. Then I put it in drive.

T: Oh, you think this is funny? That guy may never walk again, do you know that? And for what? ‘Cause he didn’t duke you enough? ‘Cause he didn’t visit you in the can? When was the last time you visited anyone in the can, Richie? When was the last time you gave a fuck about anybody but Richie Aprile?

*Richie stares in silence*

T: Now, you remember one thing, and this you better hear. You wanna talk of this old school bullshit of the rules? Well, here’s a rule you might remember. *I’m the motherfuckin’ fuckin’ one who calls the shots*. And you better pay me the respect that I gave your brother, or we’re gonna have a problem. A bad one. Now get the fuck outta here.

R: Alright, Tony.

[Awesome trope] A character gains aura from their speech.
