My Dr. Prescribed 5 days of miso after natural MMC. What was your experience?

Hi everyone, I just went through my first MMC over Easter weekend 😔 it was sooo painful but I chose to let my body do it and be with my husband at home ❤️‍🩹

I went to see my OBGYN and had an ultrasound yesterday, because I’m still cramping and bleeding. She said there is still tissue left behind and prescribed me 5 days of miso orally 3 200mg pills for 5 days.

I feel like it’s too many pills and too many days! I passed large clots and the gestational sac and I know my body is still trying to expel the remaining tissue but she’s concerned about infections and wants the medication to help finish the process.

What was your experience with miso? How many days did you take the pill orally? Did it hurt the entire time?

I guess I’m worried about experiencing cramps for another 5 days when I’ve just went thorough the worst pain of my life for 4 days! TIA
