Guidance regarding Geography

Hello everyone, i have started preparing for the civil services examination from this week, I haven't joined any coaching institute or foundation classes. With regards to geography i have bought ncerts of 11,12 class. i did read the first chapter

After searching in the subreddit I found about rushikesh dudhat sir classes which are available on YouTube. i watched the first lecture today,it was pretty engaging and easier to understand.

my question is do I follow his playlist which has around 40-45 lectures and 2-2.5 hours each and make notes from his lectures and along read ncert. does his lecture cover the syllabus entirely?

or it'll be spending too much time on one subject.
