Please help a student out, laptop refund scam

so in 2024 of august I bought a lenovo laptop which started to show issues, finally it was accepted as doa in late 2025 and the refund was initiated. however they deducted the gst and I haven't claimed any gst during the purchase of the laptop. I had filed a nch complaint back in December but it was closed without any help or proper update, I am open to whatever help I can get.
