My bf refuses to wear deodorant and it’s starting to really bother me

I’m 22 and so is my boyfriend. We’ve been dating for a year but I noticed pretty quickly into the relationship that he doesn’t wear deodorant. I brought it up casually to him at the beginning but now I’m starting to get really frustrated. He refuses to wear deodorant because he “forgets” to put it on. I’ve told him multiple times that he has noticeable BO but still nothing changes.

Thing is, the guy is one of the cleanest people I know. Super clean room, bed always made, showers everyday. He just will not wear deodorant. I almost wonder if he just does it to bother me at this point. Any advice?
