Best Tyrouge and Eevee evolutions for catchless HGSS?

I’m doing a catchless nuzlocke of Heart Gold and need help deciding on two team members. I’ve beaten every gym except Clair with a team of Typhlosion, Ampharos, Quagsire,

Fearow, Arbok, and Kadabra. I think I should be able to get Dragonite, Dodrio, Tyrouge, and Eevee after Clair. For Tyrogue, I’m torn between Hitmomchan’s coverage and bulk vs Hitomlee’s speed and stronger fighting moves. For Eevee, I’m leaning toward Vaporeon for its bulk and also having ice coverage with a good special stat (unlike Quagsire), but I also think Espeon could be good so I can have a fast psychic type that can actually survive switching into some moves. I believe I’m able to get a Thunder Stone from the Pokeathelon, so Jolteon is an option as well.
