Delta possible mod conflict

So when Delta is a companion are we able to trade weapons with them and get them to carry stuff or do they just stalk us as a secondary companion?

I ask cause I greatly enjoy running The Gang is All Here, multi-companion mod, and it feels like the new companions from update don't play 100% well they follow you but speech options are as if they are not registered as a companion
