Advice for a new player thinking about returning the game

Hello, so I bought the game with the Aurora Mk II startet pack and had...a mixed experience. It would be great if someone has tipps for my issues, tells me if I was doing something wrong or if that's just the way the game is:

The bad

- Logging out/ Spawning: I now it is immersive to spawn in a hospital bed, take the elevator down, take the subway, then take another elevator to get to your ship...but it does get annoying, epseically for a new player that tries things out and dies. But...how does logging out work? If I log out in my hangar standing next to my ship, will I spawn there when I log in next time? When I go to bed in my ship and log out via the bed, will that be where I wake up next time?

- Inventory: Which things am I supposed to keep when I die? I was annoyed that I lost my water bottles and tractor beam one time, then the next time I was surprised when they were still in my inventory...

- Speaking of local storage: Is local storage and the warehouse shared between different planets (let's say like Resident Evil) or does local mean it is limited to this one planet?

- Is there a trick to requesting Hangar Bays? How close do you have to be that it works? I had this situation a few times in which I had to fly over to my my hangar (slowly, because I dont want to crash) and once I positioned myself the doors closed right in front of me.

- Let's say I want to go to Teasa Airport (yes, to rent the Argo Raft). I can only choose Lorville as a waypoint and have to fly around until I am able to spot the Airport Logo in the world...is there an easier way to find it?

Thank you any help is really appreciated. I feel like SC could be really great, but at times it just feels...tiring. Yes, I do know it is *that* kind of game, but it does get pretty annoying when you're not sure if something is a bug, ifsomethingis definetely a bug or you are just overlooking something.

- it looks and runs surprisingly well!

- Honestly I am really surprised for how cehap you can rent ships that cost a bunch of money irl!

- Bounty hunter, Mercenary, Hauling, mining...sounds like a bunch of vareity....if I can get into the game

- Playing with my HOTAS setup is really fun!
