Visiting June 13-16. What are your "definitely check this out" suggestions?

Portland is our first stop on our 'road trip' coming up. We'll fly into PDX Saturday evening and leave for Seattle (driving) Tuesday morning.

With two kids in mind (11 and 9, both up for just about anything), what are you your suggestions for activities, places to eat, places to explore, etc.?

We'll be staying a few blocks from Powell's (currently our only 'must visit' activity). We'll need to make use of ride-share or public transit for anything outside the 'downtown' area.
