Post op question(s)

I went into hospital and had my appendix removed due to mild acute appendicitis so not as bad as some people on here (not a gloat but useful for understanding my post).

I had a laprascopic surgery, went down to theatre to be put under and operated on around 8:30pm Monday, home from around 6pm yesterday. I was sore this morning early hours when trying to sit up to get out of bed. I've not had pain meds other than 8pm yesterday and 8am today and I've been up and about to the bathroom and having a wander around the upstairs of my house (only 10-20ft from the bed like but as many steps as I can really) unassisted no issues.

Wondering if I'm in for a world of hurt and it goes downhill from here because right now other than some slight internal pain when moving or when gas makes it's way around plus I've just (as of a couple of hours ago) lost the period lottery and started that, I feel absolutely fine. No plans to go running marathons or anything, think the stairs are another days problem since ours are quite steep and getting up last night took a while, but I don't want to accidentally overdo it.

I'm not gloating honestly because I know some people have a really hard time post op but I'm skeptical that I'm actually having some luck for once haha.

Oh and I'm scared to have my first post op bowel movement, I'm on laxatives because they gave me codeine (which doesn't seem to do anything even when I have been in pain) but any advice because passing urine is interesting since all my pelvic muscles are attached to where they've cut. One of few things that does lead to pain.
