how much more are they gonna milk roman TvT?

I know major subplots like these often conclude in the final season, but is it just me who gets annoyed when Roman stuff keeps interrupting every episode? I just fast forward till one of the characters is summarizing what happened with the roman thing.

I get giving the roman thing screentime in the last couple episodes cause you want a cliffhanger but normally it takes away from the regular cases if some random roman subplot is happening EVERY episode.

Now next season we'll see morgan debate on whether to continue the investigation or not. Then last episode she'll be like "no my daughter deserves to see her dad" yada yada and then next to next season we have ant steps development.
