What is a good laptop just for playing modded minecraft (java)

i have a super old thinkpad atm that barely runs minecraft and sounds alarmingly like an aeroplane. i’m looking for something not crazy expensive (between £500 (roughly $650) and £600 (roughly $750) but i could be convinced to go higher if i have to!

i dont really care about shaders but they would also be nice !!!

guys to be honest i really just want to play the claws of berk modpack and mess around with dragons

pls help :D
