Venting about a ship that I shipped that probably won’t happen

Hi, I am venting about a ship that I really wanted to happen but now looks like it isn’t happening I was told by someone that people vent about ships on this subreddit the ship that I and still will ship even after it has been practically denied is: Oliver x Zoe aka Tech Jacket(Invincible)

After I saw them interacting I immediately shipped it they had good interactions and overall I felt that it would of been perfect for the TV show rather than

Halluma who I felt had no personality at all.

Until today when Oliver mentioned how lobsters made him feel “fizzy” inside.

I am personally very disappointed about this I think that Oliver and Zoe would’ve been perfect for each other but now that they are going down this route I feel like it was a massive missed opportunity and I almost feel blue balled by this with them interacting in a way which made it feel like they were hinting at something but no it leads to absolutely nothing.

I know that there was massive hurdles like Oliver aging to quickly or Zoe technically being too old for Him but since they have changed genders and ages before in the show I feel like they could have done it again or reworked it to make it work but no they have to go for the route which I feel will add little to nothing going forward.

The worst part was that they gave me hope. They made me hope from their interactions that they will get together and that a ship that I finally ship gets noticed or recognised because all the ones I do ship are considered rare pairs so I am just left in the dark AGAIN. I fee like that my opinion doesn’t really matter. Am I talking things too personally I don’t know I really needed to get this off my chest because I have a bit of a tendency to bottle things up.

I just want to hear your guy’s opinions on this and get this off my chest so it doesn’t affect my day hope to hear everyone’s opinions and thanks for (hopefully) reading all of this!
