Prep for Asparagus

I've got 15 asparagus crowns that have been on order for a while and I've just got the email to say they are on the way! What specifically should I be doing now to get ready to ensure I can get them planted asap when they arrive? Don't know why but I'm a little nervous about these so want to make sure I get it right.
