After how many days your baby showed cold sore symptoms

Hi I am 35f Indian and a ftm to a 11 month old baby I never had any cold sore in my life nor I had an Idea about it ! 4 days ago suddenly in the night I felt burning sensation and next day a small pimple popped up in my lip and it was paining and burning the anxiety in me went go dermatologist and she examined and said it’s a cold sore and my heart stopped for a while coz I never had this till date and I had kisses my baby without knowledge

Now am spiraling because I know herpes is dangerous I can’t even imagine anything worse to my baby

If anyone had their baby’s with cold sores how many days after exposure they started showing symptoms ?

I am praying to all gods that she should not get any infection hoping for some miracle

Coz it’s been 4 days since I got the cold sore and since yesterday am wearing a mask when I am
