Why is it so hard to meet people spontaneously in Freiburg?

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like Freiburg is super social on the surface, yet actually meeting people spontaneously or in general is harder than expected.

Most things are either planned in advance, happen inside existing friend groups, or revolve around specific events.

Sometimes I just want to grab a coffee, go for a walk, hit the gym or do something random without organizing it days before.

I feel like this is a general problem, but I notice it especially here.

Because of that, I started working on a small idea to make this easier, basically something that connects people nearby very easy who are down to do something right now.

I’ve already shared it with a few people and now I’m looking for a handful of others from Freiburg to test it and give honest feedback.

Nothing fancy, just trying to figure out if this actually works in real life.
