Do I leave my job in this current market?

Hi everyone,

I'm 24, have done my masters in Statistics and will graduate this month. I got placed through college and the internship stipend is 30k, however it isn't related to my studies at all. The work is quite niche but not applicable to the Indian market - and again like I mentioned it isn't related to what I've studied.

It might get converted to full time and I will get paid 50k at least but I'm apprehensive about it. I want to take up more internships (research, govt, biostat) and apply for jobs in Jan. I want to do this to try out and pick a domain because I think it's the easiest to do this when you're fresh out of college.

Is this stupid? My parents don't depend on me financially and I can afford to try this but I want your perspective.

10hrs plus getting stuck in blr traffic and doing pointless work really has me thinking. The only thing worrying me is the market and the stories.
