Frustrations about others seemingly not understanding my hyperfixations

Ugh, it is SO frustrating when I tell others about cool stuff and they don’t get it at all. I could literally tell them the most interesting thing in the universe, and they would just stare at me blankly.

“Hey man, did you know that the sun is going to fucking explode tomorrow?”

The guy, looking at me like I’m stupid “oh yeah. Sounds cool. Anyway what do you want for lunch?”

They act as if I haven’t just told them something awesome. Literally nobody irl I have ever met understands, they just think I’m weird lol. I understand that they may not have the same interests as I do, but they could at least ask some follow up questions or ACT like it’s interesting. It’s just frustrating haha
