Is Gold rejecting the premium zone… or building for another push higher?
Gold made a strong impulsive move into the 0.236–0.5 Fibonacci retracement region after the sharp rally, where price is now consolidating just below the upper premium zone. The reaction from the 4,830–4,840 resistance suggests supply is still active, but downside follow-through remains limited, indicating buyers are still defending higher levels. Price is currently holding above the 0.618 retracement, which keeps the bullish structure intact in the short term. The consolidation inside the Nadaraya-Watson envelope also suggests volatility compression before the next move. A break above recent highs could open continuation toward the upper liquidity zone, while loss of 0.786 support may trigger a deeper retracement toward the 4,740–4,700 imbalance.
Is this consolidation before continuation, or are we about to see a deeper pullback first?
