How fast does black hole spaghettification happen to the person/object being spaghettified?

If I were to be pulled into a black hole, how fast would my death be in my own physical time? I know that time is weird around black holes to distant observers, but if I were literally right there, would it be instant like the submersible imploding? Would I experience the pain for a moment while I'm stretched out? Would it be slow and excruciating?
