Apps keep resetting when I go to another window

It's a small problem but let's say I'm watching an ad for a game to get rewarded. At the end of the ad for some reason the playstore pops open and I have to go back to my game causing the app to refresh and I get no reward.

I'm on an Android, Galaxy A17, I've tried a couple of different solutions on the internet to no avail. If yall need any more information let me know :)

Things I've tried:

- locking the app

- Setting the battery setting on the app to unrestricted

- Going into dev mode and making sure Don't Keep Activities is off
