Help with pathway of preparing for PTE from home, by someone who passed PTE preparing online.

I want to do PTE for future US studies. Offline PTE classes are demanding ₹20,000+ ($220+) for 54 days of training. my family is ready to pay but I don't feel right in paying this much cost for something that is not even compulsory to pass PTE, there has to be some official material from PTE to prepare ourselves. can anyone who passed PTE by online preparation help me with the pathway : that what can be my steps to prepare for PTE from home. you can tell me the websites I should visit, the books I should buy, and the apps I should use. Specially recommendations of some printed books to decrease screen time. any help will be appreciated.
