Who said the American dream is dead

Before I delete this Reddit account for good, I figured I’d brag one last time.

Every success story I’ve ever posted here gets absolutely hammered with downvotes, so I said screw it. One final post to remind Reddit that the American Dream isn’t dead. It’s alive, kicking, and still paying out for those willing to grind for it.

I am a first generation in America, I'm 30 years old with four kids. My house is paid off, my salary is 6 figures, I don't owe debt, my Credit score sits at 804. I have 120K in my savings account, 190K in my retirement account, and I could not have done this without migrating and living in the USA. NO DEGREE. Both parents have a second grade education and I am thankful that they migrated here because this would have not been feasible without them.

HARD WORK PAYS OFF REDDIT. You often hear the phrase "You got lucky" and yes I agree with that. You can only get yourself in lucks way if you get up and work your ass off. Somewhere down the road you will meet luck.

And yes, my wife works since all of our kids attend school now. I don't ask her for a single cent. She does her own thing with her own money but man does it feel good to brag. The American Dream is still alive folks. Don't let the media, your friends who procrastinate for a living, ads, or Reddit tell you otherwise.

I would be happy to answer some questions for you folks as to how I got to this point. I work a blue collar Job, I keep up with my health, yearly physical and all the good stuff.

That is all.
