Booted & Deployed Windows over HTTP(S) via Wi-Fi (Secure Boot ON) — No PXE, No USB, No ISO Modding with TekDT BMC Pro

Hello everyone,

We all know USB boot and PXE boot—they’ve basically been the gold standard for years.

But I’ve just successfully tested something different: booting and deploying Windows (plus software) over HTTP(S) Boot using Wi-Fi, with a bunch of interesting advantages:

• Secure Boot? Supported — using the original iPXE shim from iPXE

• Wi-Fi-specific drivers? Not needed — the system dynamically extracts the exact driver for each Wi-Fi card, instead of loading hundreds of MBs (or even GBs) of driver packs into RAM

• Dedicated server required? No — just a Windows 10/11 x64 machine with a Wi-Fi card capable of hotspot mode

• Preloading RST/RAID drivers? Not required — a custom WinPE tool (completely replacing Setup.exe) connects back to the HTTP server and actively retrieves the correct RST/RAID drivers

• Fully automated deployment? Yes — from the moment you enter the Wi-Fi password in the HTTP(S) Boot screen, the process can run 100% hands-free

• Data partition preservation? Supported — if the system has a single disk with an existing Windows install, it can keep standard Microsoft partitions intact (non-standard partitions may still be wiped, so backup is recommended)

• Modify ISO/WIM? No — everything runs in RAM, not a single byte of your ISO/WIM is altered

• Internet required? Only on first run — after downloading ISOs and required drivers (automated, but user-approved), future runs can work fully offline

• unattend.xml? No — instead, a custom deployment engine inside WinPE gives full control over: Disk/partition detection & selection, Image deployment, Bootloader setup, Post-install software staging, Receiving execution commands (cmd, notepad, etc.) from the HTTP server, Real-time remote control, no physical access needed

I’m not the kind of person who talks nonsense or makes unrealistic claims.

Follow me, this is actively being developed.
