Was this deserved??

So yesterday I was diving and I have a bug where random people can't join me if I'm hosting even if I throw an sos beacon (my privacy setting is on public). Anyways I joined a group of people that were already 3 and they were all grouped up doing the main objective so I went ahead and roamed off to some side objectives and cleared like 4 by the time they finished the main thing. Then one of the guys (the host) says "Yo p3(me) what the f are you doin so far " and i typed in chat "doing side objectives". Because in my experience, being the full team of 4 at the same place is inefficient and it's made missions take longer if you wanna clear everything. So then, after clearing most the side objectives, this guy just comes up to me, kills me and kicks me (I also had died once and had collected 30 samples). Did I deserve that??
