Long shot: Trying to make a dying Disney superfan’s dream of Club 33 come true
Hi everyone. I know this is a huge long shot, but I’m hoping someone here might be able to offer guidance.
My boss is currently in the final stages of breast cancer and unfortunately only has a limited amount of time left. When I first started working with her, one of the first things we bonded over was Disney. I’m a Disney fan—but she is a true Disney superfan in the best possible way. Disney has always been one of her happiest places.
A few of her friends and I are working together to plan one last trip for her and her partner while she’s still able to travel. We live in New Mexico, but we’re hoping to bring her out to Disney in the next few weeks/months so she can have one last magical adventure.
For years she’s talked obsessively about how amazing it would be to experience Club 33, even just once. I completely understand how private and exclusive it is, but I wanted to reach out here just in case a member might be willing to host her and her partner for a meal, or if anyone knows the best way to even attempt something like this.
She’s truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever known—someone who has spent her life supporting and caring for the people around her. I would love the chance to give her something extraordinary in return.
If anyone has advice, suggestions, or might be willing to help make this happen, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
