"How to create "value" posts that don’t feel like mini lectures"
A lot of value posts start with good intentions and then somehow turn into school. They are useful, technically, but they sound like someone stood up in the middle of the feed and started giving a tidy little speech nobody asked for. That is the trap I try to avoid now. I still want the post to teach something, but I want it to feel like a person sharing something helpful, not a substitute teacher trying to win over the room.
What seems to help most is writing from a real moment instead of from a podium. A mistake I made, a pattern I noticed, a simple thing that worked, a belief I changed my mind about. The value lands better when it is tied to something human and specific.
