Polestar questions

Found a few Polestars sub £20k with less than 30k mileage. Rang my local Polestar dealership out of interest to see if I could go and sit in one and the gentleman said the following:

Polestar (brand) get first dibs on every car (polestar) in the UK, so of you're seeing one for much cheaper that's not being sold by us, you have to ask, why aren't we selling it and they are? As in to suggest it's one they've declined to sell so you should be careful...

wtf is he talking about?
