cross country move / temporary enclosure?

Soon ill be moving 1200 miles across the US by car, ive never moved with reptiles before. My rosy is currently in an 40gal glass enclosure. My plan was to keep him in a temporary enclosure here, drive the glass enclosure to the final destination and then have him shipped back to me. I really don’t wanna put him through the stress of driving that far. Or have him boarded at local reptile store during that time if anyone has experience with that? If not, looking for suggestions on how to set up temporary enclosure for 2 ish weeks that will be good for him/what to use and all that :)
