WEI WUXIAN’S AND LAN WANGJI’S LIFE FROM MY POV (a glimpse)

i love canon wei ying so much tbh it grates my brain as to why almost all the fanfic authors think of him as somebody weak as if he was not the one who played the most imp role in the winning of Sunshot Campaign and later went and faced and killed so many people during the two seize ltr alone like he was genuinely the one of most strongest cultivator before and after losing his golden core (he ranked 4th on that list despite having the servant status like that is smtg in mdzs world which is inherently so class based) and no I’m not justifying him killing anyone but like he was one of the best cultivators with or without his golden core 

and also the part where they write him as smne who has a weak mindset like he is one of the most strong willed and forgiving person out there 

the things wwx has endured throughout life be it losing his parents while ltr having no one around to care for him at just the age of 4-5 no one to explain stuff to him (just as a reference lwj lost his mother when he was 6 and he was still not able to grasp the conce of death so how would wei ying deal with losing both his parents with no one around and no place to call home like no one ever talks abt this when everyone talks about lwj losing his mother early like they both were kids and they both grew up listening to people slander their parent or parents tbh for reasons they could neither really comprehend or understand nor had full knowledge of) also he spent nearly 5-6 yrs on street alone surviving by himself with no one to depend on and being ltr bitten by dogs and being so badly traumatised he carried it throughout his life and just to be given a false facade of home where he was genuinely abused both physically and emotionally and regularly put into hard situations mentally that he just justified being punished for everyone while also being so clearly being affirmed that he was not part of the jiang household while also not a normal disciple letting him feel constantly insecure about his actual place in jiang sect as whole coz of course since he was close to the heir and jyl he must have been bullied coz he had no real protection as his status as servant and his parents reputation was repeatedly slandered by yzy while jfm himself never stopped anything and was genuinely mostly just emotionally unavailable as a whole and the sometimes he did praise wwx was because he wanted him to remain and be a shield so he manipulated wwx in craving the least bit of praise and kept him as a loyal dog on a leash for himself coz we all know he never genuinely cared for wwx also these behaviours from their parents let the dynamic of jyl jc and wwx develop in a very toxic way because come on soup doesn’t solve everything if you never talk abt real stuff and just urge the other person to hide them selves and their emotions (how she unconciously or conciously urged him to always smile despite anything bcz if he was genuinely comfortable with her he would have confided in her srsly) and the fact that later she just went on to marry the sect that had condemned smne whom she claimed to love as a brother is smtg i could never digest and like I don’t even want to start talking abt jc tbh but after Sunshot Campaign and everything wwx and jc both had a chance to fix it all but let’s say they were too deep in grieving for things they lost while trying to fix everything else they both made their choices and never talked and it just went to wherever it went
