Are my dogs okay or lost how can I confirm?

This April is my dogs passing month it’s been 5 years ago since she passed away. I wokeup from a dream seeing her on a sidewalk at night someone next to me was saying it’s not her and I ran up to her saying it is it is she’s my dog . I cried all morning then tried to feel better by playing ball outside with my dog. There were 2 mourning dove birds just sitting there whole time until I had to go inside they flew away. I’d like to think the other one was my other dog who passed away 2 years after her both due to really old age.
